dusty postage stamps on paper, put in place to keep your words safe
until they reach the lips of someone new,
as they read each word aloud and keep the memory of your voice breathing them quietly,
listening to your story unfold in every swirling letter,
and the pictures in your mind appear through sleepy golden eyelashes.

bonsoir, beau filles.
i just want to apologise for not getting a sunday post up yesterday, it's been a bit awkward trying to get enough time on the computer (because i'm using the family one, currently) to be able to write long things for you, as other people need to be using it as well.
i'm working on a way to make it more do-able for next week, as this seems to be the only way i'm going to be able to keep posting, at least for the foreseeable future.
hope you all are well and enjoying this new autumn air.
sweet dreams and lovely days.
